Exclamation EU court investigating casino scams

The Australian Daily Telegraph/News.com.au has an interesting story that reveals the EU are now investigating casino scams.

Shoe used to rob casinos
http://www.news.com.au/story/0,10117...-38200,00.html

Selected quotes...

" A BATTERED shoe worn by a Hungarian tourist in Sydney has sparked an investigation into a syndicate cheating top casinos across Europe.

Two Belgian police officers will fly to Sydney later this month to study the shoe design which they suspect could be behind the multi-million dollar European fraud.

Four years ago, Sydney detectives arrested Hungarian tourist Laszlo Sendor Kovacs after he won large bets at a Star City casino roulette wheel. "

" Police found $74,184 in cash and chips on Kovacs' body including $10,000 in his underpants.

The Daily Telegraph has learned Belgian and Sydney police are assisting a royal commission-style inquiry, known as the European Union Court of First Instance, into large scale casino frauds which they suspect involves shoes allegedly designed by Kovacs.

The Sydney shoe is the only one of its kind found so far. "

I did a quick google on European Union Court of First Instance and this seems to be the homepage.

Presumably the shoes(s) are in a box somewhere in the Sydney police station ?

Shoes

“Mike, please give us your opinion on Mark Howe's roulette computer”.

I have never examined Howe’s computer.

Roulette computers are not rocket science, any high schools programmer could write a program to predict roulette.

The principle is simple and has been described previously.

Roulette computers differ in size, form and sophistication but the maximum attainable edge is not governed by the device or its program.

“Could his computer be involved in this investigation that Ian has posted?”

I was not involved in that investigation.

“Do you think it is possible that Mark was able to win
over 4 million dollars using his device before he was
banned from all UK casinos?”

No

“Would you say that your roulette computer is superior
to Mark Howe's?”

I have never examined Howe’s computer. I have watched his DVD’s, I suspect his computer works. Anyone who understands the principle of wheel clocking would see that Howe either doesn’t understand why or how his device works or is a conman.

”If so, what sort of money have you won using yours
over the years?”

MYOFB

”Since you were involved in the Ritz investigation can you tell us who's computer was used in the big roulette hit?”
“Was it your computer or Mark's computer?”

This has all been covered in previous posts.

Get it from the horse

“Do you think Mark Howe was linked to this guy?”

Why don’t you ask him? I have never known Howe to be coy about taking credit for anything.

I see that you have engaged in friendly exchanges with Mark and have vehemently supported him and his devices on other forums.

This, from one of your posts here:

“I still believe you (MB)bought a computer from Mark Howe. I think you are someone who uses other peoples genius as a means by which to extort money from the casinos.”

Do you still believe that?

”Did you know this guy?(Kovacs)”

Not personally, he is well known to casino operators throughout the world.

Post Picture of the shoe

A couple of links on the News.com.au network now have a rewrite of the earlier Daily Telegraph story.

There is an interesting black and white photo that may have been taken at the time (2001) ? It's unfortunately a little dark though and not all that clear.
