Question 6% of Northern Nevadan's are Problem Gamblers ?

A video from the Reno Problem Gambling Center on Vimeo.com

Information for Nevada from 2000.
http://dhhs.nv.gov/PDFs/NV_Adult_Report_final.pdf

"Based on the current SOGS, the prevalence of probable pathological gambling in Nevada in 2000 is 3.5% and the prevalence of problem gambling is 2.9% (see Table 11 in the full report)."

Of course the percentage of problem gamblers in any given region will always depend upon the criteria used to define and guage the phenomena.

...and perhaps who's sponsoring or paying for the research ?

Opinions are welcome.
