I was thinking of saying...

Just hop on a Ryanair flight, spend the weekend there checking out the locations and maybe take the odd table test. However I then saw your location

The situation in Dublin and in Ireland generally appears stable and there are plans to get a new Gambling/Gaming/Betting Act through Parliament. The last one was in 1956 so things don't exactly move quickly on the Emerald Isle.

Hope you get some good feedback.

Ian

Question No ?

Hello Moike,

No that there are No craps tables in Ireland, or No that there will be no decent feedback ?

I believe that there is a craps table at the Sporting Emporium in Dublin.
Maybe not - http://www.thesportingemporium.com/contactus.aspx

If there's no decent feedback to such a question then I think it might soon be time to close up the shop.

I don't work there, but I've done some jobs out there. The Fitzwilliam and the Sporting Emporium are the biggest, and I believe reasonable to work in, although everyone's struggling worldwide and Ireland in particular.

One of the major clubs out there recently had an across the board pay cut, and I doubt tips are top of the shop right now either.

Legal changes are coming, but not in a big hurry - might not be a bad time to get involved, if you have a good bit of experience.

I work in Dublin, not many jobs going at the moment. There are a few decent places to work such as, The Fitz, The Emporium and the new kid on the block The D1.

If you can secure a job in any of those you'll be looking at around 3000 to 4000 euros per month including tips.
The rest aren't worth bothering with, jobs wise.
